smart is preparing to introduce a facelifted version of the fortwo at this year’s edition of the Geneva Motor Show, but we don’t have to wait until March to see the refreshed city car, as the first photos of the vehicles have surfaced the web.
The facelift brings minor exterior changes: the fortwo has received a new front bumper, which comes with a mesh grille and generous air intakes, a redesigned front grille, while the rear fascia was also updated. As for the engine range, this allows customers to choose between naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions of a 1.0-liter three-cylinder unit with outputs ranging between 61 and 102 hp, also including a 54 hp diesel.
The revamped version of the smart fortwo will reach dealerships across Europe shortly after its Geneva debut.
