Skoda today announced that its flagship model, the Superb, has managed to pass the 500,000 units production landmark, with the carmnaker’s Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic bringing the milestone vehicle to the world.
The jubilee vehicle is a white Superb Combi Laurin & Klement, which comes to collect this trophee after eleven years of Superb production. The model is being offered in 85 countries around the world, with the 2011 sales surpassing 100,000 units.

It shows the great capability of the entire SKODA team and symbolises like hardly any other model our company’s outstanding performance. Since we introduced the car eleven years ago, total sales of our model palette have almost doubled.”
