When Shaw Speed & Custom went on tearing this Blackline FXS Harley-Davidson apart, there were two things they knew for sure. First of all, the new machine would look like nothing else, and secondly, this was to be a bike for the new-gen Harley rider.
And by all means, they could not be closer to the truth. One does not need too look at the Shaw HD 110 LE for hours to be able to tell that this machine will never appeal the classic, "there's never enough chrome"- rider: this bike is extreme as the new generation, and in fact it draws its cues from the X Games.
The dull shine of the frame and bodywork creates a stunning contrast with the gold nitrated parts, and the decals only make this awesome build stand more form the crowd. The donor bike was not chopped: instead Shaw Speed & Custom made the build look cleaner and tidier, and prepared it for the AMD World Championship.
In fact Shaw added to the frame: look closely and observe the second spine atop of the fuel tanks. Yes, tanks: the original reservoir was cut in half and mounted lower for adding a dramatic new stance to the FXS.
Multiple Sportster fork parts are to be seen in this build, and with the Hope MTB bars, the front end attire changed completely. The finishing touches came with Performance Machine spokes wheels and breather cover, using RSD Black Ops rims and Roland Sands engine covers to match. A Shaw carbon seat and rear fender were also in place.
If you ask us what the fav part on the Shaw Speed & Custom HD 110 LE is... the new Shaw exhaust architecture left us drooling!
