When it was launched on the market this summer, the most hardcore version of the already hardcore SLS AMG became the fastest production Mercedes-Benz in history, but its baptism by fire could only arrive after a hot lap on the legendary Green Hell.
Well, it seems that the loonies from Affalterbach didn't exactly rest on the SLS AMG Black Series' market launch laurels this summer, at least according to the following video.
With footage to prove it, it seems that back in August, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series did a lap of the Nurburgring Nordschleife in no less than 7:25:67 minutes.
To put that time into perspective, you might want to know that it's the fastest time in which a Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Porsche 911 Turbo S (991) can do the "Ring".
To magnify the perspective, the SLS AMG Black Series time is faster than the one of a Ferrari 458 Italia, a McLaren MP4-12C and even a Pagani Zonda F or a MY2010 Nissan GT-R Spec-V.
We might be a little too optimistic, but watching the entire footage bellow we got a feeling that it may go even a few seconds faster than that, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
