SEAT’s range-topping Leon FR TDI is now available with a DSG transmission option in the United Kingdom, the Spanish automaker announced today, adding that the vehicle will retain the manual’s acceleration time from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 km/h) at 7.5 seconds.
However, a slight increase in CO2 emissions will be noticed, as the Leon SC and the five-door versions are estimated to emit 119 g/km, while the ST is rated at 122 g/km.
In addition to the DSG, SEAT has introduced Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Front Assist option and a new “Dynamic Multi” alloy wheel design for the Leon. The ACC can be ordered with SE and FR models.
In related news, SEAT UK also announced that a £2,500 discount will be applied to all Toledo models that are ordered until the end of the year, while the range-topping Toledo SE will be offered with over £1,000 worth of extra equipment.
