We’ve talked about Schmidt Revolution on multiple past occasions, despite the fact that the tuner still isn’t as well known as some of the big names on the aftermarket. However, the Germans are now back under the spotlights, this time giving us an F30 BMW 335i.
Schmidt Revolution offers what seems to be a balanced tech approach for customizing the muscular 3-Series, whose stock output sits at 306 hp and 300 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.
Called “Peformance Edition”, the pack starts with a Stage One, that takes the figures to 336 HP and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft). This is done via an ECU remap that costs €800 ($1,000).
Stage Two takes the game to 365 hp and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft and and will set you back €1,400 ($1,800) for an extra €400 ($532). In addition, you can have an 80 mm tailpipe set for €400 ($532).
What’s more, the BMW 335i also gets a set of 20-inch FS Line wheels that are wrapped in Continental 5P tires measuring 235/35/20 at the front and 265/30/20 at the back. These rolling goodies retail for €6,500 ($8,600). The final touch is given by a Bilstein B12 suspension that can be ordered together with Eibach stabilizer bars for €2,000 ($2,600).
