Santa Claus was caught refueling his supercar, a Ferrari 458 Spider, at a gas station. Santa was seen wearing a white T-shirt and red sneakers despite the winter weather.
The innovative costume matched the paintwork of his Ferrari in Rosso Corsa, registered in Switzerland. The one driving the Ferrari describes himself in the comments on Instagram as a 2023 Santa Claus.

The duo, made up of the 2023 Santa and the Ferrari 458 Spider from the 2010s, was spotted in Geneva, carrying a Christmas tree, all lit up, on the retractable rooftop. To protect the paint on the roof, there is a protective cloth underneath the tree.

The Ferrari 458 Spider is not the first Maranello-made car seen this winter transporting a Christmas tree. A couple of days ago, a video posted on social media showed the two-seater Monza SP2 driving somewhere in Slovakia carrying a huge Christmas tree. The driver was not visible, so it looked like the tree was cruising by itself in the 799 horsepower (810 PS) supercar.

Considering that the Monza SP2 does not feature very highly advanced self-driving features, there sure is a driver hidden somewhere under that Christmas tree.

Earlier that night, Santa Claus, dressed in a T-shirt, was spotted leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Geneva in the same car, but this time, he was accompanied by his girlfriend, Maria Chernysheva-Zwahlen, a kind of modern Merry Christmas, passionate about supercars.

Merry Christmas is dressed appropriately for the season. However, with his modern outfit, Santa defies the weather in Geneva, where termometers only show 8 degrees Celsius (46.4 degrees Celsius).

No wonder Santa is able to go around the world in a single night to deliver presents. His Ferrari 458 is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 engine that generates 562 horsepower (570 metric horsepower) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) for a run from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 3.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of 202 mph (325 kph).

The naturally aspirated V8, which came in an era when everything was turbocharged, is linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sourced from Getrag.

In 2015, its final year in production at the Maranello factory in Italy, before getting replaced by the Ferrari 488, the 458 Spider used to start at $239,340. Now, pricing is up to age, mileage, condition, variant, and paintwork.

But Santa's Ferrari sleigh is reportedly a rental. The car shows up on the Instagram page of a luxury car rental firm from Geneva, Switzerland. It can be rented for three hours for 490 Swiss francs ($576) or for six hours for 690 Swiss francs ($811). Those who need the car for a whole day will have to pay 1,090 Swiss francs ($1,281).
