Ever since the first examples of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS started showing up online, we've been keeping an eye on the Rennsport Neunelfer. And it's been a few months since the truly special colors started appearing - for today, we've brought along a first, namely a Neunelfer of the kind dressed in Ruby Red Metallic.
The Porscha we have here has recently been delivered to New Orleans, Louisiana, so you can expect a lot of heads to be turned in the area.
We're looking at an all-out configuration here, as, for instance, the flat-six wielder packs the Weissach Package, along with the magnesium wheels, which happen to be dressed in White Gold Metallic. Keep in mind that, when the GT2 RS was launched, these two options came as a single goodie. But with the 2019 GT3 RS seeing them being offered separately, the GT2 RS followed suit.
Since we're talking about the optional extras found on this 700 hp flat-six animal, we'll also mention that the Porsche features all-LED headlights with black inner graphics, along with full bucket seats.
Interestingly, the owner of this 2RS also drives a 991.1-generation 911 GT3 RS dressed in Ruby Red Metallic. In fact, the Instagram post below also includes a photo of the 3RS, so you should make use of the swipe feature to check it out.
In fact, the man's garage is an example of the diversity provided by the Neunelfer lineup. Holding north of twenty versions, the 911 range is difficult to understand for those outside the Porschephile realm. Then again, we can't say the this Zuffenhausen collector hasn't been financially reasonable. After all, the man didn't trade in his 991.1 GT3 RS for a 991.2 model...
Oh, and if you're looking for other extrovert Paint to Sample hues covering 911 GT2 RS examples, we'll remind that we discussed Pastel Orange and British Racing Green earlier this month.
