Earlier this month we brought you news of former professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek setting a Guinness World Record for the “farthest reverse ramp jump by a car”.
Using a Chevrolet Sonic to perform his stunt, Dyrdek jumped 89 feet and 3.25 inches (27.2 meters). Recently, Chevrolet released a two-minute video that shows the jump from different angles and documents some of the modifications that were added to the car.
The record-setting reverse jump was filmed for MTV's "Fantasy Factory" at Six Flags Magic Mountain and will be aired on March 13, during the season finale of the show. The reverse ramp jump was Dyrdek’s second automotive first in a Sonic, after the 360-degree kick-flip off a ramp performed three years ago.
