Thought R1 was an extreme bike? That's so cute, but it's wrong! If extreme is what you're after, then please check your standards with this astonishing Roaring Toyz build and prepare to be amazed.
Since laying a heavy hand on the throttle of an YZF-R1 can result in instant zero-control wheelies, Roaring Toyz' Robert Fisher added a custom-made, stretched single-sided swing arm. With this solution in place, a crazy 330mm Performance Machine rear wheel came in,to add more meaning to the word "extreme".
The wheels got Yana Shiki rotors and Brembo master and levers were installed, together with Roaring steel-braided brake line and Graves Motorsports rear sets. Roaring Toyz also provided billet grips, lowering links and a quick-release gas cap.
On the engine side, this mean R1 received a Power Commander V unit and a Brok's Alien Head exhaust. The engine covers come from Graves, too. Add in plenty of LED lighting, a JDA adjustable kickstand and an 100W stereo to go with the breathtaking graphics.
Well, how's your "extreme" definition doing now?
