Renaultsport’s first product offering for the South American market is this, the Fluence GT, a car that to our knowledge never got the hot treatment before.
To make it more attractive, they’ve fitted the Brazilian sports sedan with a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine offering 180 hp. Thanks to this, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is dealt with in 8 seconds and the needle doesn’t stop until you hit 220 km/h.
Over the standard Fluence sedan, this car also boasts a host of exterior and interior cosmetic touches. The body of the car has been festooned with a chin, a rear spoiler dark metal finish on mirrors and door handles and 17-inch wheels.
Inside, you get a new dashboard with black accents, aluminum pedals and metallic door sills. Standard equipment includes six airbags, rain sensor wipers, dual zone AC, power steering, xenon headlamps, keyless entry and GPS navigation.
