General Motors sighed in relief last year when its sales were enough to keep the crown as America's biggest automaker – and they're pushing the mark to remain on the throne in 2024, too.
There are a lot of novelties coming from all brands – Buick is offering the first-ever Envista as its new base model and patiently waits for the arrival in late 2024 of the new Envision, and Cadillac has no less than five novelties: 2025 CT5, 2025 CT5 V-Series, as well as the all-electric 2025 Optiq, 2026 Vistiq, and 2025 Escalade IQ trio. But that's just for the premium and luxury side of the equation.

Meanwhile, the mass-market Chevrolet brand is waiting for the all-new 2025 Equinox and its Equinox EV counterpart, just launched the all-new 2024 Traverse, and the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban plus the Silverado EV are also coming. What about GMC? They are eager to please their customers, too, as the all-new 2024 Acadia is arriving in early 2024, and the first-ever Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 has expected availability scheduled for this coming summer.

But is that enough? Well, the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators don't seem to think so – they are also asking for another couple of refreshments to hit the popular Sierra truck line and Yukon full-size SUV range. For example, the Halo oto channel on YouTube provides fresh automotive info corroborated with their virtual designs, and in the past, they have already explored the unofficial styling of the 2025 or 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 as a way to keep up with the upgraded 2024 Ford F-Series and the updated 2025 Ram 1500 lineup.

Now, a subtle facelift procedure for the 2025 or 2026 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL is also a logical thing, right? After all, late last year, Chevrolet showcased the refreshed versions of the fifth-generation Chevrolet Tahoe and twelfth-generation Chevrolet Suburban for the first time. These facelifts brought modified front and rear fascias with updated headlights and taillights modeled after the 2024 Traverse styling. There are also available 24-inch OEM wheels (!), a 10-percent more powerful 3.0-liter Duramax diesel, and a revised interior featuring a redesigned dashboard housing an 11-inch instrument cluster and a standard, massive 17.7-inch-diagonal infotainment screen.

The channel's resident pixel master has cooked up the hypothetical design project of the 2025 or 2026 GMC Yukon in AT4 guise to make it more enticing, and the platform sibling of the Chevrolet Tahoe gets the styling inspired by the Sierra 1500 and Sierra EV model on the outside. On the inside, meanwhile, the Chevy cousin is a much better influence with its new high-tech instrument cluster and infotainment system layout. So, what do you think about this proposed Yukon?
