There’s no two ways about it, cartoons ruin a child’s imagination, and when he grows up the Internet ruins your childhood memories.
Take Hanna Barbera’s cartoon series Wacky Races. Instead of spending time with daddy working on the Camaro, the boy learns that cars run on cactus juice or pink power. So instead of working as an engineer when he grows up, he lands a job at McDonald’s .
And then the Internet shows him a picture of what Penny Pitstop’s (got that sounds strange) wheels of choice, the Compact Pussycat. Childhood memory instantly ruined! This thing looks like a fish that had a botox injection.
There's a show within Goodwood called the Junior Festival Of Speed, and in 2008 all the cars in Wacky Races were shown to amuse the crowds.
