Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone was the first important figure of the Great Circus to advise Stefan GP to make Schumacher an offer, as Michael's younger brother has great experience in F1 driving, while also a 6 Grands Prix winner in the series.
Today, Schumacher confirmed Stefan GP's interest in him, but insisted that he and his manager are still to go over it and decide if it's worth accepting.
“Mr Stefanovic makes a very serious and purposeful impression. I have learned about their interest in me, but there is not any more to be said at the moment. Whether or not it is really an interesting option, remains to be seen," the winner of 6 grands prix added,” Schumacher was quoted as saying to German newspaper Bild.
The 34-year old German racer is currently driving in the DTM Series for Mercedes-Benz, but is yet to be confirmed by the Stuttgart-based manufacturer for the 2010 campaign.
