More and more Porsche Panamera models are finding their way onto the market, some of them very efficiency like the 3L/100km S eHybrid, others devilishly powerful. One thing is for sure, Porsche makes some of the most amazing gearboxes, mills and launch control systems out.

Biturbo charging lets the new engine develop five per cent more power at 420 hp, but with up to 18 per cent better fuel economy. To give you an example, the Panamera S' NEDC rating has been reduced 1.8 liters to 8.7 l/100km.
A lot of twin-clutch cars have low resistance when costing by switching to the highest gear to reduce engine braking. However, one Panamera model takes that to new extremes. The S eHybrid shuts down its engine completely and decouples it from the gearbox, so coasting is even more efficient.
