Porsche Northeast Regional Support Opened in USA

In an effort to improve customer service and become more efficient, Porsche Cars North America officially opened the doors to the new Northeast Regional Support Center in Easton, Pennsylvania. The structure was built with consideration to the environment and operates very efficiently. The green approach was awarded with the area's first-ever LEED Gold Certificate for environmental sensitivity.

I am very proud that Porsche and its builders took the extra steps to help protect the environment,” said Detlev von Platen, President and CEO, Porsche Cars North America. “This certificate recognizes small things, such as the use of recycled building material, super efficient lighting and planning for ideal water runoff, that add up to an important result: helping preserve our world's resources.

From a geographic standpoint, the center is located right in the middle of one our most important sales regions and provides easy access to all major highways,” said von Platen. “This is essential from a logistics perspective: the time it takes to get parts to our dealers will be dramatically improved by use of a dedicated Porsche trucking system that will deliver parts to our dealers overnight and in some cases on the same day. Ultimately, this allows us to serve our customers faster and better.

The new Porsche center is located less than 100 miles away from important cities like New York, Philadelphia or Newark, so if your car breaks down around there, you’ll get your parts really quick.
