Have you guys seen the official "spy photos" from Porsche showing the Macan? They're pretty interesting, showing the SUV playing in the desert, hitting the sand dunes like a true 4x4.
As you might have noticed, there are no sand dunes or deserts in Stuttgart. So the pictures were most likely taken in the United Arab Emirates. Land Rover tests its SUVs there, so does Mercedes, and why not a Porsche.
Our friend Patrick3331 spotted the Macan, not in the middle of the desert, but in a parking lot. It even has Dubai license plates!
If we were gambling men, we'd say this is the Macan Turbo, since the exhaust pipes are doubled up on either side. According to the rumors, this would mean it's powered by a new 3.6-liter bi-turbo V6, which we're guessing has about 450 hp if not a little more.
