We previously reported that the diesel version of the Porsche Cayenne will set wheel on North American roads in the second half of the current year and now we’re back on the topic to tell you that the vehicle will make its US debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
Porsche has recently announced that it will introduce a new version of the SUV to the US this spring and the Cayenne Diesel is the one that’s expected to arrive. The tech specs are expected to remain unchanged, which means that we’ll get a VW-sourced 3.0-liter V6 unit producing 240 hp and a peak torque of 406 lb-ft.
We’ve recently tested the Cayenne diesel, and discovered a machine with just as many faces as the symbols on its badge, so if you want to find out more about the car, you can follow this link.
