Yesterday we showed you the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder and Koenigsegg Agera R throwing a party on the Assen Circuit in The Netherlands. Today we’re back to give you another hypercar brawl from the event, this time with a spicy twist.
The Agera R and the 918 Spyder are back to play, but the P1 and the LaFerrari are nowhere to be seen. The two hypercars engage in a drag race and they are joined by a machine that’s supposed to be a lesser one - the McLaren 650S.
As usual when it comes to such dog fights, the McLaren is arrogant and shows up in Spider form - McLaren itself sometimes likes to send Spiders to battles. You do need a microscope to tell the difference between a 12C and a 12C spider, for instance, so we can’t blame them.
Returning to the Dutch hooning session, we won’t tell you what happens in the confrontation between the Porsche and the Koenigsegg, but we will mention that the 650S keeps up pretty well, showing the true meaning of “bang for buck”.
As for the grid girls that entered the LaFerrari for a smiling session, they are doing some more serious stuff this time, namely kicking off the drag race.
Before you hit the “Play” button below, we have to remind you the car were driven by journalists and / or owners, so the resulting distances between the vehicles can be taken with a grain of salt.
