With the summer four-wheeling season set to get underway any day, Polaris is following up on its world-class lineup of off-road 2-up ATVs with a flagship vehicle that not only improves upon greatness but also adds layers of refinement that you wouldn't believe would ever be applied to an ATV. Like their Ranger series of utility side-by-side, the practically automotive-grade features of the all-new Sportsman 570 will make it the practical Rolls-Royce of the sector.
The latest in a lineage of Polaris ATVs that date back to 1985 with the Trail Boss and Scrambler ATC, nearly 40 years of research and development have gone into making the Sportsman 570 one of the most feature-packed ATVs proportional to its predecessors in a very long time indeed. Across the 2025 Sportsman 570 2-up model range, newly-added trinkets like a redesigned tool-free removable passenger seat make for a seamless transition from single to dual-rider configurations depending on the needs of the operator. Across the range with the Sportsman Touring 570, X2 570, and the 6x6 570, each offering brings something special and unique to the table.

On the practical end of things, an 11-gallon cargo storage capacity is a figure that Polaris touts as industry-leading. With six of those gallons of space coming from an all-new rear storage hatch built into the underside of the rear rack, all this cargo is distributed relatively evenly across a short and agile wheelbase that lends itself well to a variety of off-road environments. From swampy marshes to desert sands and woodland trails of all varieties, a suspension setup with 9.5 inches of rear travel with durable sealed bushings makes for a setup more durable than any Polaris ATV before it.

With an increase of at least 11.5 inches of ground clearance across the model range compared to recent Polaris ATVs, there's a solid foundation on hand for the added creature comforts applied on top. For starters, the updated 6x6 option now rocks a beefy 3,500-lb winch on top of selectable four-wheel drive, while the workhorse Sportsman X3 570 sports an industry-exclusive dumper bed with a 400-lb load capacity to essentially become a fusion between a quad-bike and a pickup truck.

Across the range, the Sportsman 570 sports an all-new, seven-inch integrated infotainment and navigation display featuring Polaris' proprietary Ride Command software lauded across the industry for its automotive-grade responsiveness and ease of use. It's all at your disposal anywhere and everywhere via Polaris' Ride Command+ mobile app, which integrates all the functions of Ride Command onto any iOS or Android device. With a starting MSRP of $9,999 ($11,799 CA) for the entry-level Sportsman and up to $14,499 ($16,299 CA) for a Sportsman Touring 570 Ultimate, or $14,999 ($17,799 CA) for a fully kitted 6x6, the value per-dollar only increases as you make your way up the 570 model range. One thing's for sure: we can't wait to test it.
