If the Hulk is your favorite comic book character, then you’ll love the color of this Alfa Romeo 4C. Modified by the mad professors at Pogea Racing to a one-of-a-kind specification, the car’s luminescent shade of green is just the tip of the iceberg.
“The most important thing for the client was to stand out,” says the tuner about this particular build. And to this effect, Pogea Racing took inspiration from the 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, also known as the prettiest sports car of the year.
Red brake calipers and black-painted wheels add to the visual drama, along with modified taillights, rear wing, more aggressive engine cover, and an aero-conscious diffuser. If that’s not crazy enough for your liking, bear in mind the vehicle used to be painted white. The customer changed his mind after a few months of ownership, deciding that a crazier color would suit the 4C better.
The self-mixed paint was applied in four coats, and if you look closely at the Centurion 007, you’ll further notice the pearl effect and deep, deep luster. The appeal of the car is furthered by the interior, modified by Speedfire Design with green leather, black piping, Alcantara, and loads of carbon fiber.
Love it or hate it, the Centurion 007 has the skills to pay the bills when it comes to going fast. The 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine now features 337 PS (332 horsepower) and 456 Nm (343 pound-feet) of torque, which is a lot of muscle for a car that weighs so little.
As for the handling part of the deal, KW suspension and Michelin tires for the XCUT forged wheels make the difference. Be that as it may, the 4C doesn’t feature power steering because what we describe as a creature comfort translates to unwanted weight for the Alfa Romeo.
At 895 kilograms (make that 1,050 in the United States or 2,315 pounds compared to 1,973), the 4C is lighter than the lightest Mazda MX-5 available today. On the other hand, chances are the Centurion 007 weighs a little more than the bone-stock model.
