Long story short, if you play The Crew Motorfest this July, you get a massive discount on the full game. However, there is a slight catch because this deal isn't available on Steam. It is only on consoles and other PC digital stores.
First off, these are the exact July Free Weekend dates and platforms:

  • PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4: July 4-8
  • Ubisoft Store (PC): July 4-8
  • Epic Games Store (PC): July 4-8
  • Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One: July 11-15

Here comes the best part of this deal. Usually, like on Steam, people who have never accessed The Crew Motorfest can try it out for five hours to see what's what. However, this time, there is no time limit besides the earlier dates. You can play for how long you want and keep your progress at the end.

Season 4 recently launched on July 3 and brought an entirely new lineup of 29 awesome vehicles, two new playlists, new Summit contests, technical and bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.

The season began with a new car culture theme, "Donk & Lowrider," featuring visually stunning rides like the 1971 HOONIGAN Chevrolet Caprice DONK and the 1987 Buik GNX Lowrider Edition. To get behind the wheel of these beauties you have to unlock them through gameplay progression.

Some old favorites from The Crew 2 are also making a return with the new major content update, like the '69 Dodge CHARGER R/T Hemi MAD Edition, the 2004 Nissan 350Z Roadster Ultimate Edition, the 1955 Jaguar D-Type, the 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8, and many more.

The good part is that if you already own these rides in The Crew 2, you can start importing them for free at your leisure. The bad part is that while some of them are available now, others won't be ready until later, like August 7, August 14, and September 4.

If The Crew Motorfest captures your attention during the free weekend period, when it expires after July 8, you can purchase the game's various editions for up to 50-60%.

If you're not planning on getting the full game, there's always the $18 per month Ubisoft+ subscription service on Xbox consoles and PC through the Ubisoft Connect app. Sorry, PlayStation fans, the membership isn't available on your ecosystem. There is Ubisoft+ Classics, but it's a far cry (pun intended) from the real subscription service.

Ubisoft+ members get early access to the French publisher's latest and greatest titles, including premium editions and DLC content. That means you can play the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws on August 30 and Assassin's Creed Shadows on November 15. Oh, and for those who can't get enough of these titles, the Premium plan also features a 20% discount on games and DLCs and 10% off virtual currencies.

Ubi+ is currently offered at $135 for one year, down from $180. That's not a bad deal at all—quite the opposite. Remember, though, that the 45-dollar discount expires on July 11.
