We have to say that we were really impressed with the Peugeot 4008 crossover based on the Mitsubishi ASX, and we can’t wait to check it out when it comes to market next year. It looks practical and the design is in a whole new class for the French manufacturer.
As for their HX1 concept that made its debut in Frankfurt last month, it looked like a hipster MPV that could see production. Now, reports from Euro Car Blog suggest that the automaker will turn this into their new halo car that will take the form of a sort of crossover mixed with an estate, sort of like the A6 Allroad, but with dedicated styling for the shape.

Strangely enough, Peugeot also has the 508 RXH that fits this description perfectly and is seeing limited production.

We’ll remind you that the concept was powered by a 204 horsepower 2.2-liter turbodiesel linked to a 6-speed automatic box that moves the front wheels, and a 70kW electric motor that motivates the back ones. Rumor has it that this is also the configuration earmarked for the production version.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
