Paul Miller Racing will be campaigning an Audi R8 LMS race car in the 2014 TUDOR United SportCar Championship, Audi Motorsport revealed earlier this week, adding that the team will begin testing at Sebring on November 16.
“Everyone at Paul Miller Racing is looking forward to racing with Audi in the new IMSA TUDOR SportsCar Championship,” Paul Miller said. “We also want to extend our thanks to Audi of America. We have had a long and great relationship with Audi, and they will be our partner in this effort. That was certainly a key element in our decision.”
The race car will be driven by Bryce Miller, Paul Miller’s son and former GT race winner in ALMS and Grand-Am, while the second driver will be announced before the season begins.
As a reminder, the Audi R8 LMS share more than 50 percent of its parts with the R8 street car, including the 5.2-liter V10 engine.
