SEAT has chosen the Paris Motor Show to show off the new Toledo in the metal, for the very first time. For those who may not know, the Toledo is nearly identical to the Skoda Rapid. SEAT first showed off a concept version of the car at the Geneva Motor Show, in March, and the production version differs little, when compared to the concept.
It measures 4.48 meters in length, and 1.7 meters in width, which means that it is easily big enough to swallow up a family and bags, and thanks to the excellent lineup of turbocharged engines, get them anywhere in Europe without breaking a sweat. It is also a good proposition for those who do a lot of town driving, as its low width will help it massively in the often crowded city centers of old Europe.
The car is set to debut all across European showrooms, in the first part of 2013, with a price tag starting just under €17,000. It remains to be seen if this or the Skoda Rapid will turn out to be the cheaper car - the clincher when it comes to ‘brand-engineered’ cars such as these.
