You'd be hard-pressed to find a more spectacular, lavishly-appointed 243-foot superyacht than this Italian masterpiece. A jaw-dropping floating mansion with the amenities and luxuries of a high-end cruise ship, Andrea was born to operate as both a perfect family vacation yacht and an ultra-expensive charter yacht. The only mystery about this flamboyant luxury toy is why it has already reached owner number six since its debut not that long ago.
At the time of its 2017 debut, this enormous 243-footer (74 meters) was the second-largest yacht built by the prestigious CRN at its shipyard in Ancona, Italy. The original owner, an Australian billionaire, was the typical serial yacht owner always looking for a bigger, shinier toy.

From the start, the new megayacht was designed to meet the standards of the most luxurious charter vessels. Zuccon International Project was in charge of the exterior design, while the world-famous Winch Design studio based in London handled the interiors. Boasting enormous volume in excess of 2,200 GT, Cloud 9 looked and felt much more spacious than its size. It could accommodate 12 guests across eight luxury cabins and a huge 25-person crew. At 13 knots, it promised a range of more than 6,000 nautical miles -  perfect for extended charter cruises.

The original owner put their new toy to the test right away by embarking on a fabulous sabbatical with their entire family. The staff included a nanny and a tutor, and the multi-functional gym was turned into a classroom at sea, with the TV screen doubling as an interactive chalkboard. The family and their guests ended up spending 100 uninterrupted days onboard – it must have been an unforgettable experience, especially for the little ones. Still, the new CRN megayacht quickly changed hands and names: Odyssey, then Odyssey II.

In the middle of the 2020 pandemic, the 2017 CRN was sold once again, changing its name from Odyssey II to Lady Jorgia. At the time, it was asking for a whopping $90 million, yet it had no problem finding a new owner with deep pockets.

The beginning of 2023 marked yet another change of hands for the 2017 CRN, which changed its name to Andrea. It was speculated that the one who bought it was casino mogul Steve Wynn, who might have named the new toy after his wife. When 2024 came along, Wynn's Andrea was one of the spectacular pleasure craft showing off at the infamous St Barths New Year's Eve celebration. Still, this alleged ownership would be the shortest one so far for this Italian megayacht, ending right at the beginning of the summer season.

With the sale still fresh, Andrea's new name isn't public yet. This would be the yacht's sixth owner since its launch and, more intriguingly, the third one in just four years. Are owners trying to get rid of it, or is it simply such a coveted money-making machine that everybody wants a spin? After all, we're talking about a €910,000/week floating palace.

This opulent cruise ship-like megayacht boasts extravagant features such as a 10,000-liter (2,640-gallon) glass-bottomed swimming pool right on the main deck, an indoor cinema and an outdoor cinema, a helipad, and a huge toy garage. Two of the most spectacular features are the fully equipped gym on the upper deck and the lavish spa on the main deck, complete with a beauty salon and a drop-down balcony for stunning views. The private owner's deck is a 400-square meter (4,305-square foot) sanctuary with a separate media room and a suite with breathtaking 180-degree views.

Style-wise, this Italian megayacht is anything but minimalist or understated. Winch Studio created an otherworldly maritime universe onboard as a fabulous tribute to the ocean. Still one of the greatest superyachts in its size category, this opulent CRN might indeed be the ultimate charter luxury yacht. The most recent sale was concluded off the market for an undisclosed price. Will this new ownership last more than a couple of years? Only time can tell.
