The new BMW F15 X5 has been keeping our minds busy ever since the first set of leaked photos hit the web back in January. BMW didn't officially introduce the new SUV to the public yet but it is expected to do so at the Geneva Motor Show next week or the New York Auto Show at the end of March.
The current E70 X5 will end production in July this year. That means that the new X5 will start production in August 2013. However, dealerships around the world are receiving ordering guides in order to get a preview of the available options for the new SUV.
The F15 X5 will have specific pre-configured packages of options called 'Lines' exactly like the new 1 Series and 3 Series. For the moment we know about 2 new lines, the Luxury Line and the xLine, and the classic M Sport Package.
The available colors for the new X5 will be: Alpine white, Black (Not available with M Sport), Black Sapphire metallic, Carbon Black metallic (only with M Sport), Space Gray metallic, Dark Graphite metallic (not with M Sport), Mineral White metallic and Sparkling Brown (not with M Sport).
Regarding interior trims there are 3 options: Poplar Wood, Fineline Pure Wood Trim and Fineline Oak Wood Trim. The leather upholstery will be available in Black Dakota, Canberra Beige Dakota, Terra Dakota, Ivory White Dakota and Mocha Dakota.
The xLine and Luxury lines will have specific 19'' wheels that will be coming with all-season run-flat tires.
