A slow year when it comes to new model releases is about to end for German manufacturer Opel. As soon as we pass into the new year however, that will change, and it will all start with the minor facelift brought to the Corsa model.
The revised hatch will join the Astra in receiving the new design language of the German carmaker, with resized and revised upper and lower grilles, eagle eyes to go with the headlamps, wing-shaped daylight signature lamp, new fog lamps surrounded by chrome and six new alloy wheel designs.
For engines, the Corsa will be using an extra unit, the 1.3 CDTI with an output of 95 horsepower. The unit is equipped with Start/Stop technology and has been rated, for the three-door version, at 3.5l/100 km (67.2 mpg).
On the inside, the facelift received updated trim levels, new dashboard molding, new fabrics and decors. Technology wise, it is packed with Bluetooth connectivity, a five-inch color touch screen and full navigation coverage for 28 countries.
As a touch of uniqueness, the model will continue to be offered in the Color Line Series, this time throughout Europe, which comprises visual enhancements like black painted roof and high gloss black 17-inch wheels and bright exterior colors.
A new Linea pack will also be offered, providing customers the opportunity to personalize their vehicle. As standard, the model features two large white or black stripes, while the color of the 17-inch wheels and side mirror caps is coordinated with the stripes.
For now, the pricing for the facelifted version have not been announced.
