One-off Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China Auctioned

After we presented you the limited edition Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China, due to be released soon just for the Chinese market, the Italian manufacturer has unveiled a one-off model scheduled to be auctioned at a charity gala that will take place in Beijing on November 3.

A part of the money raised through this auction will be donated to finance Chinese students specializing in automotive engineering studies. Apart from the limited number of custom units, this unique Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China has also been custom designed by the same renowned Chinese artist, Lu Hao.

However, compared to the two-tone color scheme of the less than 12 limited editions, this one-off model has been hand painted by artist Lu Hao to resemble Song Dynasty Ge Yao Kai-piece porcelain of the Song Dinasty.

It also has a Jade start button as well as a tachometer featuring “Xiao Zhuan” lettering, which is an ancient Chinese script (also featured in the 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China Limited Edition).

Just as with the limited production models, aside from being equipped with the HGTE (Handling Grand Turismo Evoluzione) package, the car is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine that develops 620 hp and 608 Nm of torque and boosts the Italian supercar from naught to sixty in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China is reportedly above 330km/h.

The Italian sports car maker has also released a 2 minute 12 second-long video with the “making of” the special 599.
