Tesla hasn't started exporting the Cybertruck, with the US being the sole market where the electric pickup truck is officially available to order. However, this doesn't mean that wealthy people across the globe haven't been able to buy the Cybertruck. One Tesla fan was not only able to import a Cybertruck into China, but it also managed to crash it in record time, proving that it isn't invincible, after all.
Tesla debuted Cybertruck deliveries in the US last November, with plans to expand to adjacent markets, starting with Canada. However, Canadians are still waiting for the moment when they will be able to officially buy a Cybertruck. In the meantime, many people have bought Tesla's electric pickup trucks from the used market and brought them to Canada. However, since the Cybertruck isn't homologated in Canada, these trucks are still registered in the US.

Tesla seems to be ok with it, despite the draconian no-resale clause in the sales contract that scared no one. The EV maker used Cybertruck's halo effect to drive up sales and brand recognition in overseas markets. This is why the Cybertruck has toured Europe and Asia, even though Tesla has no plans to sell it locally. In the case of Europe and China, it would be highly problematic to even make the Cybertruck road legal, considering local legislation. However, this hasn't prevented Chinese and European customers from buying a Cybertruck and importing it into their respective countries.

The first we've found out about was imported into Germany by someone who bought it from the grey market in the US and somehow managed to register it in Germany. Later, Cybertrucks have been spotted in the Middle East, with even the famous Dubai Police getting one. In January, Tesla brought a few Cybertrucks to China, and the response from local Tesla fans has been overwhelming. This convinced Tesla to bring the Cybertruck to the Carbon Neutrality Expo in Shanghai last month, and the Chinese went crazy about it.

The hype around the Cybertruck is real, and this explains why wealthy people in China bought Tesla's electric pickups even though Tesla is not selling them officially. However, one of these Cybertrucks had a very short life. As people got tired of shooting bullets at it and hitting it with various objects, the Cybertruck was bound to get more driving action, and this Cybertruck met its fate during a desert adventure.

Because, yes, China has vast swathes of desert land, and locals use them pretty much in the same way as people in the Middle East. This means tourism, dune races, and so on. A video shared on Instagram shows a crashed Cybertruck that looks like it had fallen from an airplane. Not far from it, another crashed off-roader was loaded on a platform.

Judging by how the Cybertruck looks and the trail of debris surrounding it, it has come rolling down from the top of the dune. Most probably, the Cybertruck was driven fast, flew over the top of the dune, and landed hard at an angle, which caused it to flip. There's not much information about the crash, but hopefully, nobody was hurt.
