On Track with SEAT Debuting

SEAT is launching a new marketing initiative called “On Track with SEAT” that will see the company collaborate with multiple music stars.

The automaker’s British arm is presenting a new series that takes viewers into the heart of music making, offering an inside view of the creative process while artists are recording in the famous Metropolis Studios in London.

We are talking about a 12-part series that is coming via Channel 4. This features some of the top contemporary artists such as Foals, Ellie Goulding, The Drums, Tinchy Stryder, Amy Macdonald, Bombay Bicycle Club and Robyn.

Each program focuses on different musicians as they go through the recording process with some of their most important tracks. In addition to that, all artists will perform a cover version of a song that has served as a major inspiration to them.

With each artist then producing their own sleeve artwork, the programme shows the acetate heading to the pressing plant and, in just three hours, each participant receiving a truly original collector’s item ‘hot off the press’,” stated the press release.

10,000 copies of one track, selected by the artist, will be offered as a free download from club-SEAT.co.uk.

This brilliant new programme will allow us to further strengthen our growing association with music.Following the exceptional success of our sponsorship activities at the recent Reading and Leeds Festivals, the launch of On Track with SEAT clearly signposts the development of a growing strand of our marketing activity,” said Steve Robertson, Head of Marketing at SEAT UK.
