Lamborghinis. Ferraris. Bentleys. Rolls-Royces. Whatever luxury or sports car goes through your mind, you name it, they already have it. It is not a private collector, nor a museum, but the Dubai Police. Now, they have just got a Tesla Cybertruck in their fleet.
The Cybertruck looks as if it just rolled off a spaceship in the company of a Mercedes-AMG G 63 and a Mercedes-Benz G 500 4x4². And those aren't the most impressive vehicles of the Dubai Police Force, to begin with. But you can't possibly put the Cybertruck next to some sports car because it would dwarf it in a manner that would probably belittle the rest of the vehicles.

So, here it is, among its own kind, pure-bred off-roaders and high-riders that don't make it look like the Gulliver it already is.

If you are tricked into believing that this police cruiser is the first to set wheels on the United Arab Emirates soil, then guess again. The first time we reported about a Cybertruck making it to Dubai was in March. Back then, an example was for sale there, which seemed quite surprising, considering that Tesla has not begun deliveries to markets outside the United States.

It was most likely a truck that was imported from the US by a dealership that was hoping to make a profit out of the move. However, the model was cheaper than any of the trucks sold in the US, so it didn't quite make sense.

The EV arrived in Dubai with an asking price of 520,000 Dirhams, which was around $141,600 at the time. That would have not even covered the $50,000 penalty that the seller would have to pay, according to the purchase contract, in case they sell the vehicle in the first year of ownership.

The vehicle probably sold because the listing page on the Dubizzle website is currently unavailable. "Sorry, this page is lost in the sands," is the text of the error. And the Cybertruck is probably dune-bashing in the desert sand right now.

Two months later, the Tesla Cybertruck officially arrived in Dubai, but only as a guest on a temporary visit. A tourist in the UAE, the Cybertruck has started a world tour, and that was just one of the stops. The model was on display at the City Center Mirdif shopping mall for two days before it went to Jubail Mangrove Park in Abu Dhabi and back to Dubai.

Right now, it tours Europe, and Copenhagen, Denmark, has recently been one of the places where it stopped. Furthermore, it was seen driving on public roads in Denmark, even though it is not homologated for the European roads.
