Don't let the exotic looks trick you. The Roma is the cheapest Ferrari currently on sale. Well, cheap means something different in Prancing Horse slang, as it is still out of reach for us, with a starting price of almost a quarter of a million dollars.
Throw in a few optional extras, add the destination charge and the dealer markups, and your Ferrari Roma will cost you close to $300,000. A tuned copy can fetch much more than that, and depending on the company responsible for the modifications and the actual mods itself, don't be surprised if yours will come close to the $500,000 territory.

Now, we haven't seen a whole bunch of eye-catching Ferrari Romas from the aftermarket world since this model broke cover some four years ago. In fact, most copies stepped over the OTT line, especially those that came from under Mansory's belt. However, this one is on the appealing side of things as it manages to keep things simple yet effective.

As mentioned in the title, Novitec held the tuning stick. Don't look for a wacky body kit, as that's not how this company operates. In fact, they drew the line at the matt carbon components after installing their NF10 alloys with a V-spoke pattern and tweaking the suspension to bring the body closer to the ground, a move that has also improved its high-speed cornering at the expense of some comfort.

This Ferrari Roma has a gray satin look, hence the fighter jet reference made above. The wheels were finished in black and retain the Prancing Horse emblems in the middle. The logos also decorate the front fenders, nose, and other components, and the vehicle features yellow brake calipers for more contrast with the Ferrari branding on them.

In the images shared on social media recently by Novitec, the car’s interior is partially visible. By the looks of it, it has remained untouched by the tuning stick. Black is the dominating hue here, with the Alcantara upholstery being decorated by white double-stitching and white piping.

The V8 engine soldiers on under that long hood. It is a 3.9-liter unit with dual turbos. The output is rated at 611 hp (620 ps/456 kW), produced between 5,750 and 7,500 rpm, and the spec sheet reveals a peak torque of 561 pound-foot (760 Nm) at 3,000-5,750 rpm. The engine can be revved up to 7,500 rpm. Ferrari claims 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.4 seconds and says the Roma can tap out at over 199 mph (320 kph).

Now, we're fans of how this Ferrari Roma looks, and yet another example of less is more when it comes to tuned cars. But do you also approve of the specification? And if not, what would you do to your Roma?
