Japanese automaker Nissan has released the first teaser image of its second new minicar, the DAYZ ROOX, developed in partnership with Mitsubishi.
Described as a "super height wagon-type minicar", the DAYZ ROOX is actually based on the Japanese market-exclusive Nissan/Mitsubishi-developed DAYZ model, which will be available starting with June 2013.
"The new DAYZ ROOX will reflect Nissan's brand identity in exterior design as well as features that will be inherited from the know-how cultivated from Serena, the No.1 minivan in Japan in 2012," Nissan said in a press release, adding the new minicar is aiming to provide its customers with a comfortable and roomy cabin.
Besides promising "excellent fuel economy", Nissan declined to unveil further details or specs about the tall DAYZ ROOX, but did mention that the model is set to be launched in early 2014.
