Scheduled to be introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show in about a week or so, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo will be a heck of supercar. At least that’s what the Japanese automaker claims, especially since it was revealed that the new iteration will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in only two seconds.
It’s early to make assumptions, but this will qualify the 2014 GT-R Nismo for a new, astounding Nurburgring lap, likely below the 7-minute mark. Could it beat Porsche 918 Spyder’s 6:57-minute lap? Again, it’s too early to make a guess, but Nissan will give it a hard try. Probably this is why the company’s first teaser of the GT-R Nismo zooms in on the Nurburgring track.
