Japanese automaker Nissan published a new video in which the new Versa Note's "class-leading technology" is showcased ahead of the vehicle's debut on the US market for the 2014 model year.
Wearing a price tag that starts at $13,990 and goes as high as $15,990, excluding the $790 destination and handling fee, the 2014 Versa Note will arrive in dealerships as the only car in its class with an option called Around View Monitor. In addition, Nissan claims the new Versa will bring class-leading fuel efficiency at 31 mpg city, 40 mpg highway and 35 mpg combined.
"This car has the features and the value to continue that momentum, absolutely," said Nissan Senior Manager of Product Planning, John Curl. "Total cost of ownership is very important for these buyers. When you buy a car in the entry class you don't want to spend a lot of fuel. There's no car anywhere close to this price point that has the Around View Monitor. It's class exclusive for a couple classes above actually," he added.
