Japanese automaker Nissan has taken the wraps off its brand new Terrano crossover SUV. Based on the Dacia/Renault Duster, the 2013 Nissan Terrano will go on sale in India starting September 1.
Wearing a slightly modified Duster shell, the Terrano stands out when compared with its Dacia/Renault sister model thanks to a Nissan front grille, revised headlamps, larger taillights, and a set of new alloy wheels. The interior is also similar, but comes with a new steering wheel, chrome surrounds for the vents and dark faux wood inserts.
The 2013 Nissan Terrano will become available with a choice of three engines - the 105 BHP 1.6-liter gasoline and two 1.5-liter dCi units with 85 BHP and 110 BHP respectively.
Deliveries for the brand new crossover SUV are scheduled to commence in October.
