Back in the summer, we talked about how the final examples of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS were reaching their owners and how we would eventually run out of such Neunelfers to show you. Well, fortunately, that time has not arrived yet and we want to bring you the most recent GT3 RS PDK we've come across.
If you happen to be in a hurry, you could mistake this for an example of the 500 hp animal dressed in the uber-popular Ultraviolet Blue shade being photographed in unfortunate lighting conditions.
Nevertheless, this isn't the case, as we're talking about a totally different color. To be more precise, this rear-engined coupe is dressed in Paint To Sample Night Blue Metallic, being the only such GT3 RS to have surfaced online so far.
We're glad to report that this Porscha is being used as its maker intended it to, since the machine was caught on camera while visiting the Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands.
And, thanks to PTSRS, the Facebook page behind this spotting, we now know that this Rennsport animal arrived at Porsche Centrum Leusden back in July last year - given the country's active supercar spotter community, it's amazing that the thing managed to remain hidden for over a year.
Speaking of the GT3 RS, we'll remind you that the model you see here is still reigning. That's right, we're talking about the only Neunelfer model that has yet to be touched by the wand of the 991.2 revamp.
Don't worry, though, Porsche isn't ready to retire the model as it has done with the non-RS GT2.
In fact, we've recently spied the revamped version of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which still hasn't reached its final form yet. And with the non-RS GT3 being able to lap the Ring in 7:12.7, we're expecting the newcomer to be nothing short of a naturally aspirated bomb.
