Word has it the next-generation minivan from Chrysler will be launched as a 2016 model and will wear a Town & Country badge. According to The Windsor Star, production of the new Chrysler Town & Country will commence in 2015 at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada.
Although Chrysler declined any comments on the subject, it's believed that the next-generation Town & Country won't arrive with a Dodge Grand Caravan badge as well, a rumor that only add fuel to fire created by the recent report claiming that Dodge will get the axe once the Fiat-Chrysler merger is complete.
The fifth-generation Chrysler Town & Country was introduced starting with the 2008 model year. The minivan was initially assembled in St.Louis, Missouri, but production was moved to Windsonr, Canada in 2008.
