One of the few exotic carmakers that makes Pagani seem like a century-old company is Mazzanti. The just-as-Italian automaker has taken the world by storm with its Evantra and it seems its engineers are preparing to offer a new incarnation of the mid-engined contraption.
A prototype has been spotted in the proximity of Mazzanti's shop in Pontedera and, as you can see in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, the supercar packs the kind of psychedelic wrap we see on all test vehicle nowadays.
Before we move on to discussing the details of the spied tester, we'll remind you that Mazzanti only builds five Evantras per year, with the animal being motivated by a 7.0-liter V8.
So far, we've been gifted with the "standard" model, the Evantra 771, which mixes a host of aerodynamic revision with a 20-pony premium, as well as the Millecavalli. The latter dialed things up quite a bit, staying true to its name and delivering no less than 1,000 horses.
The test vehicle seen here appears to borrow the 771 model's front spoiler, as well as its roof-mounted air scoop, while the side air intakes seem to come from the Millecavalli - we added some images of the latter to the gallery.
In case you haven't been living under a rock, you've notice that pretty much any go-fast machine builder likes to mix and match the ingredients in its line-up nowadays, coming up with multiple versions and editions for the speed demons it offers.
The Italian low-volume producer is probably playing this game here, so we could expect it to be a... mid-range offering for the Mazzanti portfolio. As such, we should be dealing with at least 800 hp, with the extreme aero elements present on the machine helping it handle all that power. Of course, this could always be a one-off for a customer seeking the ultimate experience delivered by the company.
Until we get to see more of this menacing creature, you can feast your ears on the V8 burble it delivers in the video below.
