Mercedes-AMG are probably having a field day, laughing at all the media outlets who keep reporting that the SLS AMG is going to be buried soon and a Final Edition version is about to be launched at the upcoming LA Auto Show.
Yesterday they unveiled a mysterious teaser image depicting the lower fascia for a carbon fiber-adorned Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG which everyone thought it was the aforementioned Final Edition.
Today they showed a light-alloy wheel whose design is oddly similar to those found on the C 63 AMG Edition 507, which made us guess that this will most definitely be indeed “another member” of the AMG family, but not in the Final Edition sense.
The third teaser just came on the Mercedes-AMG official Facebook page and brings us a driver's seat with diamond-shaped stitching and visible carbon fiber, again confirming this is, in fact, an SLS AMG.
Our take? Call us either crazy or Nostradamus, because we think we are looking at an SLS AMG Edition 600 something in the likes of the C 63 AMG Edition 507. We're putting our money on the Edition 620, how about you?
