French automaker Citroen has launched the new C4 Picasso MPV in the United Kingdom. On sale as we speak, the first PSA Peugeot Citroen model built on the new EMP2 platform has a starting price of £17,500.
Now 140 kilograms (308 pounds) lighter than its predecessor, the new C4 Picasso weighs the same as the C3 Picasso and its the first conventionally powered compact MPV to emit less than 100g/km of CO2. However, Citroen fails to mention that only one of the 13 versions of the C4 Picasso has CO2 emissions rated below the 100g/km mark. How French of them...
The model in question, the e-HDI 90 ETG6 VTR+ emits 98g/km of CO2, while the rest of the lineup emits from 105 up to 145. As we mentioned earlier, the new C4 Picasso starts at £17,500, a price that will bring you the VTI 120 manual VTR. Going round the other end of the list, the e-HDI 115 ETG6 Exclusive+ will fetch £24,455.
