New Audi A6 Avant Gets Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System

Inspired from Audi's A7 Sportback and A8 models, and already featured in the sedan version, the new Advanced Sound System is now also featured in the new seventh-generation A6 Avant. Owners thus get to enjoy the same flowing petal-and-leaf shaped loudspeaker grilles and platinum-colored anodised aluminium grilles of the system.

Two dashboard-mounted acoustic lenses appear when the system is activated. In addition, the tweeter units feature the Acoustic Lens Technology, which disperses high frequency sound horizontally throughout the cabin.

Moreover, each woofer and midrange loudspeaker in the front doors is constructed of a single, closed unit, which prevents air and vibration from being lost outside the car and away from listeners sitting in the cabin. This technology also allows each loudspeaker to operate independently.
