We love to see cars in movies, even though in the past decade or so, they’ve become increasingly fictional characters of the silver screen. Gone are the realistic car chases, as they’ve been replaced by the robots and aliens shooting lasers. But there’s still for the petrol sniffers to get a kick out of their cinema tickets, as there’s a new movie coming early next year in which two of our favorite cars play leading roles.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will be enforcing the law in his town in the brand new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, probably the most capable pony car for the track that America has ever built. The “Governator” play former LAPD narcotics policeman Ray Owens who moves to a sleepy corner of the world called Sommerton Junction.

But it doesn’t stay sleepy for long, because the bad guy, abriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), arrives there after making his escape from an FBI prison convoy. He then starts his race towards the Mexican border in a Corvetter ZR1. That would be America’s answer to supercars, and the one in the movies is supposed to be fully tricked out.

It sounds like this might actually be at least half interesting! And Arnold is back! Oh yes... we need more of him and the Chevys.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
