With three or more Acura vehicles making their debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show next month, you’d think that would be the end of the year’s reveals from the Honda sub-brand. But no, they have more!
CarAndDriver today reports that Acura will also debut a new replacement for the RL sedan, which stands at the top of the range right now. The car will be officially presented at the 2012 New York Auto Show, meaning we can expect an April reveal.
The flagship will use Honda’s new Electric Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system, which uses a 3.5-liter V6 for the front wheels and a pair of electric motors for the back.
It’s also supposed to be a bit larger and more nimble than the current generation, while also providing more interior space.
