GMC is almost ready to reveal not just the refreshed 2025 Yukon and Yukon XL full-size truck-based SUVs but also the third-generation 2025 or 2026 Terrain compact crossover SUV to join the family alongside the all-new 2024 Acadia.
The specialized subsidiary of General Motors has a very fresh roster – the GMC Canyon arrived all-new for the 2023 model year, the Sierra and Sierra HD feel entirely contemporary, and the GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is joining the GMC Hummer EV pickup and SUV in the zero emissions department. On the other hand, the SUV party has already started with the 2024 Acadia starting at $42,600 with seating for up to seven.

GMC has naturally started the teaser campaign for the 2025 Yukon and Yukon XL big truck-based full-size SUVs that will join GM's roster alongside the refreshed 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban. Cadillac is also diligently working not just on the 2025 Escalade IQ with a zero-emissions powertrain but will also reveal the refreshed 2025 Escalade with ICE power under the hood, including in Escalade-V guise.

So, not long from now, General Motors will face the likes of the refreshed 2025 Ford Expedition with a completely updated roster of full-size SUVs. Curiously, GMC is not stopping there. Instead, they also want the little Terrain, which switched from mid-size to a compact-sized SUV when the second iteration was introduced in 2018, to adhere to the same percepts.

Even better, it will be an all-new model for the 2025 or 2026 model year, just like the 2024 Acadia. As per the recent official teaser, we have already seen that GMC will ensure anyone can recognize the most recent Terrain, Acadia, and Yukon models by giving them closely related front fascia designs. As for the interior, the rumor mill fully expects the smaller Terrain to adhere to the same cockpit philosophy as the 2024 Acadia, albeit with a few extra touches.

Naturally, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is also very interested in what GMC has to offer from the perspective of the refreshed 2025 Yukon and Yukon XL plus the all-new 2025 or 2026 Terrain crossover SUV. As such, it is no wonder that this virtual artist, better known as c_zr1 on social media, gives us CGI food for thought in the form of the hypothetical next-generation GMC Terrain AT4 – he is very passionate about all GM products and recently also showcased the hypothetical 2025 Caddy Escalade Platinum or the unofficial 2025 GMC Yukon AT4.

The pixel master's Yukon AT4 was dressed in a bundle of classic or adventurous hues for the body – but also featured a black off-road bumper, Method Race Wheels shod in 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a perky lift kit for the suspension setup. Meanwhile, the envisioned 2025 GMC Terrain AT4 is a bit tamer as it flaunts a light blue theme for the body, large black alloy wheels, and the new GMC design language. So, what do you think of these two?
