This is an awesome time to be a Porschephile, with members of both the 991.2 and the 992 generations currently being out there. Truth be told, we won't get to see the 2020 model reaching its owners until next year, while Porsche has yet to introduce the production version of 991.2 swansong, namely the 911 Speedster.
However, 2019 will also bring other rear-engined goodies. For instance, the final part of the year should see the German automotive producer introducing the 992 911 GT3, which you can find in the Instagram post at the bottom of the page.

The Porscha has been spied wearing the production body on countless occasions (we've added a full gallery above, so you can check out the GT Division animal from all the angles).

While the transition from the 991.1 to the 991.2 GT3 only brought a slight aero aggression boost, the newcomer will pack the kind of aerodynamic elements one would expect to see on an RS model.

Of course, we're eager to see if the rear wing-deleting Touring Package will continue to be offered. For one thing, this showed up to deal with speculators driving the price of the 911 R towards the $1 million point, so it might not show up again.

However, when it comes to the technical side of the 992 GT3, the news is certainly brilliant. And that's because the naturally aspirated flat-six, as well as the manual gearbox, are here to stay. These two aspects have been observed thanks to the soundtrack of test cars.

Next year might also see Zuffenhausen introducing the 992 911 Turbo, which has also been spied testing in production trim.

Nevertheless, the first months of 2019 will see Porsche bringing us the non-S Carrera, as well as the Cabriolet version of this and the Carrera S that landed in Los Angeles last month. After all, the rear-engined family will end up packing north of twenty derivatives.
