When I first read this post on Hawk’n’Poke I didn’t really know what to make of it. It’s talking about a certain Mr. Rare Rims that apparently owns a BMW E30 3 Series fitted with... guess what? Some rare rims!
By the end of the thing, I hoped I’d finally get to know the name of this mysterious character and what exactly he’s doing that needs such secrecy. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
However, the car this guy has is really interesting. As it turns out it’s a BMW E30 3 Series in ‘Salmon Silver’ (as they call it) wearing a set of BBS RS198 wheels measuring 17 or 16 inches, I’m not really sure, as the original article was written in that sort of English that makes you unsure about everything, from God to reality as you perceive it. Either way, they are 8.5 inches wide at the front and 9.5 inches wide at the back. That I’m sure of.
The best thing about this car though, is how incredibly good looking it is after all this time. It’s a pre-facelift model, which means it was built before 1985, quite a long time ago for any car. Check it out in the photo gallery posted below.
