In case you still remember the "electrifying Geneva concepts" teased by Mitsubishi about two weeks ago, we're just one step from seeing them live at the Geneva Motor Show.
Well, the Japanese carmaker couldn't stand around doing nothing until the Swiss event begins, so they decided to give us a glimpse of their GR-HEV hybrid pickup concept.
We rarely get to see a pickup concept showcased during European auto shows, but we do kind of understand why Mitsubishi decided to bring something bigger to Geneva: this is a preview for their next generation L200.
The vehicle's design seems impressive at first glance, and the Japanese automakers says the hybrid will be powered by a diesel engine and an electric motor for an optimum fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions. The latter are estimated at 149 g/km, which is quite good for a fairly big pickup.
The concept will also sport the Super Select 4WD and the Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system, but further information will be available starting tomorrow after the 2013 Geneva Motor Show gets on its way.
