Yesterday, MINI announced that it will bring an electric scooter to the upcoming Paris Auto Show, offering us a set of sketches for the eco two-wheeler.
Now, the British automotive producer is letting us know that it will debut a new design concept before the aforementioned event. The new MINI concept will be unveiled in central London on Thursday, September 23.
The presentation will be part of the London Design Festival. It will include a special guest star and will also be attended by Adrian van Hooydonk, BMW Group Head of Design. The executive will be the one who will unveil the concept.
MINI used its Facebook page to make the announcement and also invites its fans to the event. The company is offering tickets for the exclusive presentation for UK residents who send an email at [email protected].
“The event will take place in central London and include a special guest star as well as Adrian van Hooydonk, BMW Group Head of Design who will unveil the new concept as part of an exclusive event during the London Design Festival. It’s so exclusive that we’ve only invited journalists and friends of MINI and you could be one of them!” the Facebook statement read.
MINI released a teaser image for the concept. By taking a closer look at the picture, we can say that we are dealing with a special version of the MINI countryman crossover (this will make its UK debut on September 18), with a three-door incarnation or a John Cooper Works version being the most likely ones to be hidden under the cover.
